One of the most important things we can do as athletes is listen to our body and what we truly need. We often have the capacity to ask more from ourselves, forgetting that true adaptation also comes with adequate rest, hydration, wellness, and remaining injury free so we can do what we love.
This 6 week block will focus on ending the year as our best selves: physically, mentally and emotionally. A holistic approach to finding space, seeking movement that serves and getting a little more flexible in the process.
The sessions are guided by Gail Wilkinson, a Strength and Conditioning Coach, Yoga Teacher and Level 2 triathlon Coach. Gail has taught Yoga to LFTC members since 2010. Yoga has been an integral part of keeping our athletes moving, and understanding how their bodies work. You are welcome to sign up for the whole block, or to attend single sessions.
