Following on from last year’s extremely successful London Lockdown Series on Zwift, with LFTC achieving 1st Men’s Cat A individual, 1st Men’s Cat B individual, 3rd in Women’s Cat A individual, 1st Men’s Cat B team and 3rd in the overall team competition, London Dynamo are running a one-off Zwift road race competition on Saturday 12th February. Can LFTC top the podium this time around?!

Firstly, this event is aimed at being a fun challenge with some healthy club rivalry. We’re relying on rider’s honesty to avoid the regular Zwift weight sandbagging problem and also to make a voluntary donation to the Shadow to Shine charity here https://www.generaize.

* Each club to use a different Zwift jersey
* 4 Laps of Zwift’s London Loop, which includes Box Hill (3 Laps Men’s and Women’s C and below categories)
* 60km and 880m of climbing
* Race will have A, B, C open categories, D and E cat for women only

There are a few differentiating features to the race:* Course
* It is a private event, not advertised on Zwift, so you can only enter if you have the link below. Please only share with genuine club riders who should use their Zwiftpower race category to choose which category to enter.

* The course is longer than normal, so riders will have to manage their energy and fueling a bit more than usual.
* Categories
* A, B and C riders in Men’s will all set off together, and riders will be able to see the different colour codes of categories in the rider panel. While the main kudos is for the overall winner, this also allows room for a slow A to help a fast B teammate, and other tactical moves.
* Women have their own race in D – but they are welcome to go etrans for the day, join the men to race against them. Not vice versa, however – D category men should join the C race.
* * Kit and Naming
* Different clubs will be in different Zwift kits in an attempt to simulate a road race. Team codes and recommended strips are on the following link
