For the second weekend running LFTC can add another member to it’s growing list of Ironman triathletes!

Congratulations Gregg on becoming LFTC’s latest Ironman finisher!

Just a note about Tuesday’s track session this week. The track is still out of action so we will meet beside the sports pavilion like last week. There is bike parking there. Do not bring anything that are not willing to run with as anything left with the bikes will be out of our sight once we start training.

I must say as a coach this weekend was one of the most rewarding weekends so far. Just check out the results!

If you heard my comments pool side on Saturday morning you will understand why I have had to bring some Aussie expertise to show us how it is done!

Gail unleased ‘the force’ in Belfort, France to take 6th place in her age group finishing in 5:45:40!

A massive ‘GO LFTC’ to the LFTC triathletes competing this weekend including Gail Wilkinson in the ITU Long Distance World Championships in Belfort, France and all our club mates heading to the Deva Triathlon in Chester.

Even in a world class field of specialist 10000m runners you will see quite a lot of variation in technique.
