So I had thought the boys might finish one up on the girls after the Cotswolds Middle Distance Triathlon. I should have known better!
A massive weekend of racing this weekend which sees LFTC battling the North Norfolk Triathlon Club and the girls taking on Challenge Weymouth and Challenge Weymouth Half.
It was an early start in the Cotswolds on Sunday with all the LFTC crew starting in wave one. We hit the water at 6:30am…
During the Commonwealth Games there were a number of performances that I thought were truly inspirational. Sharn McNeill’s story, completing Ironman Cairns with ALS and a little help from her friends, is also quite incredible.

Here’s hoping Gabriel Sayer, Abigail Swales, Simon Brader and John Kennedy and can give us a good reason to pop the cork on a few bottles of bubbly this weekend!
It has taken four years but LFTC now has its first Ironman World Championship qualifier in Gail Wilkinson!
