In the middle of one of the biggest storms of the year, LFTC trail runners in South Devon laid down some amazing performances and partied afterwards in true LFTC style! Joe Dale won the open men’s half-marathon event. Sarah Allen came second in the open women’s half-marathon event. Guy Holbrow finished second in the men’s V45 half-marathon event and James Ralph finished third in the open men’s marathon event. We also had top ten finishes by Adam Parkes and Hannah Troop in the open men’s and women’s half-marathon events.
There were plenty of other fanatastic achievements over the weekend. There were people completing their first trail running event, people taking on their first half-marathon, people on their first LFTC weekend away and people wearing fishnet stockings for the first time (or is it your first time Joe?). Nice work everyone who braved the stormy conditions to take part in CTS South Devon and survived to tell the tale!
Check out the video above just in case you need a little inspiration to get involved in another CTS event with us. We have a group heading down to East Sussex on March 22. I wish all those competing in the Hell of the Ashdown sportive on Sunday a great ride. Keep safe and look after eachother! I will cross my fingers that these winds die down before you stomp on those pedals tomorrow morning.
See you on Sunday. Tim (LFTC Coach)
